COVID-19 UPDATES

October 17,  2021

Dear Somerset Woods Residents, Employees and Family Members,

Somerset Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center primary focus is to provide the safest environment possible for our beloved residents and staff. This is a very difficult time for all of us and we are looking forward to getting back to normalcy as soon as possible

Somerset Woods continues to test all unvaccinated employees on a weekly basis. In addition any employee experiencing Covid-19 symptoms is tested and excluded from work even if vaccinated.  This week’s COVID-19 testing resulted in 1 staff testing positive for COVID-19.  This employee has not had contact with any residents or employees and is currently out of work while recovering at home.

Our current COVID patient census is currently 0.  We continue to follow our guidelines in isolating any resident that develops symptoms for COVID-19 or tests positive for the virus. We remain vigilant in fighting and isolating the Virus to the best of our abilities.

I would like to thank all of our nurses, doctors and front line workers for their complete dedication and determination to fight the virus and keep all of our residents safe. Thank you!

I am pleased to inform you that facility wide testing has been completed and there are no other positive cases as a result we are now reopen for indoor visits . Please keep in mind that we are still offering video chat through our Telehealth system. Please reach out to our recreation department to schedule your visit.(732) 653 -3000 ex 107.
